I simply must have my kids in bed by 7:30pm … for my own sanity. There, I’ve said it. Some people think I’m too strict, some think I’m nasty and others want their kids to move in with me for a week.
What do you think? Sure, it’s good for kids to get as much sleep as possible. In fact, lack of sleep has now been scientifically linked to a greater chance of obesity as an adult! But, more than all of the kid reasons, my husband and I really really need that 2-3hrs at the end of the day to reconnect, do nothing, catch up on work, do housework, switch off.
